Terms of Service

1. The service
The Third Witness provides software tools for mediated dialogue. It is not a substitute for legal counsel, therapy, crisis intervention, or emergency services. If you or another participant are in danger, call your local emergency number.
2. Your responsibilities
- You must be 16 or older to create an account.
- You will obtain the consent of every participant before starting a session.
- You will not use the platform to harass, threaten, or abuse another person.
- You are responsible for the content you submit and share.
3. AI co-mediator
The AI co-mediator produces suggestions only. It can be wrong, incomplete, or biased. The human mediator remains responsible for every decision in the room.
4. Payment
Paid plans are billed via Stripe. Unless stated otherwise, payments are non-refundable once a session has begun.
5. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including any use that endangers participants.
6. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
